THE  SIGNIFICANCE  OF  POPE  FRANCIS:  GOOD  PR  FOR  THE  RC  CHURCH

     To put it very bluntly and succinctly, I believe that the College of Cardinals selected Frances to be Pope in order to deflect the public’s attention away from the tarnished public image the RC Church acquired in our time through the sexual abuses by RC priests and which it acquired in the past through the horrific mistreatment of Jews and Protestants and South American “Indians”. Francis has said some nice things and done some nice things but the rulers of the RC Church are using these to give the RC Church a good public image, not because they are really serious about having a true reformation of the RCC. It is strictly PR!! Francis is the Good PR Pope!
